This German Army version is better than the U.S. and Swiss models because of the solid nylon handle scales. I have had a U.S. version which has both nylon and rubber scales, but the rubber inserts eventually deteriorate. The German version with solid nylon, as offered here, are the most rugged.

I own 2 US versions (just has US on the handle). Wondering if there are any of those models available? Either way I keep this knife with me and comes in handy for most situations. I’ve used the saw to prune some hickory branches for a job after we already cleaned up the tools, Philips head screwdriver is hefty enough to actually be used and the serrated blade handle Just about anything. Great all around knife. Wish it came with a molle case though.

It's really refreshing to buy a knife you don't have to do Anything to after you take it out of the box - it's already wicked sharp, all of the tools open and close easily, the one-handed opening actually IS, and everything locks firmly open and closed. The blade is hefty enough for a lot of casual camp chores, and I really like the saw blade.

Not too large, typical daily use tools, only complaint is the serrated edge but that is just my preference.

Best victorious out there. The basics and the blade has thumb loop and liner lock. One handed opening is always preferable to have. I like the asymmetrical shape and it won't get confused with an average victorious. The half serrated blade should be good for seatbelts and webbing. I bought one for my college-age daughter, but liked it so much that I bought one for my soon to be in college son, and one for me. No meh corkscrew on this one, just enough goodies to get by. Like a lot of products on county comm, be prepared to get more than one!
