This set of 54 visual aircraft recognition cards - issued by the U.S. Army in the mid-1970s to train ground and air forces to distinguish friend from foe - features front, side and back views of American, allied and Soviet airplanes and helicopters, accompanied by identifiable features and technical specifications for each aircraft. Though the cards are 30-year-old artifacts, all are in excellent condition. 2½"x 3½".

Value is purely nostalgic here, YMMV. Dad gave me a set from the 50's when I was a kid. Lots of SAC planes, Soviet aircraft, even some prop-driven planes. Most of my good friends are former military and will get a kick out of these.
