I got one of these last winter for my key chain. As of recent it is very weak and gives off no light. I charged it and it is still weak? Any ideas???
I own A LOT of EDC things from never being completely satisfied with a product and always trying to find something better. I own SureFire, Streamlight, Nitecore (stay away from them), and several others. All ok to good lights, other than nitecore, but there’s something I don’t like about each one. They may get too hot, the battery may drain way too quickly, too fragile, they’re overly complicated for a pocket flashlight when you just need a quick light, they turn on in my pocket accidentally, they’re awkward in the pocket or to hold, the light throw is subpar, etc. That being said, I haven’t looked for another EDC light since I purchased my PCL and it’s been a few years. I usually use the low setting but use the high setting every so often so I truly may charge it 1x per year. Nothing bugs me more than only using my light sporadically, turning it on when I actually need it, and it not working. It’s happened with every light I’ve ever owned, other than my PCL. The ease of use is great for a pocket light (it’s on my fob keychain) where it’s a twist for low and another half twist for high. That’s it. The twist is buttery smooth and the patina from oxidation gives it a vintage look. Also, I don’t have to lock any buttons to prevent the light from the light turning on accidentally. The throw is really, really solid for a light this small. It’s just a great light and I only have positives to say about it.
A great EDC light. Small compact with a surprising output for such a small light
I cannot review this flashlight because I have not received it. I hope the postal carrier is enjoying it. In the pictures, it "looks" like it would be exactly what I wanted. I am going to have to stop buying from CountyComm.com because I cannot depend on my purchases to be delivered. It's a sad, sad, situation. I hope you have better luck with delivery. CountyComm, please. start using FedEx or UPS. The Postal Service is a theft waiting to happen. Thank you. My mother sent me a birthday card with $20.00 in it and the card arrived with the envelope torn open and the money gone. Anything of value is pilfered by the USPS. There needs to be an internal investigation.
This light is incredibly bright for its size, and it looks great. It throws a nice even beam with a smooth center hot spot and very usable spill light. My only gripe is that it will be difficult if not impossible to carry in my pocket because it will activate if the battery tube and LED housing are pushed together even slightly. Adding a few more millimeters of travel to the threads would allow the user to fully lock out the light without worrying about the two halves coming apart, and a foam donut placed in the battery tube could address battery rattle. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase. This is a great little light.
