Lightweight & tough built. When you set up your keys, you will get a slight gap on the latch, no problem, gently push it aside & bend it back the opposite way slightly & it will close fully & no more gap. (GENTLY)
My experience is pretty much in line with other reviewers.
Remember that Ti doesn't have the "memory" nor "springiness" of steel, so if you over-compress the gate, it may not return to it's original position...
Pretty cool-looking though...
Very light and well made small carabiner. As you can see it's titanium, so you know it's light and strong. How sturdy will it be? Hard to say. But as with most if not all of the items I've purchased from County Comm over the years, I'm sure it will stand up just fine. I'm not completely sure how I'm going to use this one just yet, but I am sure whatever use I finally decide on it will serve it's purpose well. Another nice product from County Comm.
Mine sprung putting it on a 0.170 inch thick D-ring. It looks as though there is enough clearance for it not to hook if there were weight put on it.
This is a job for steel.
