Our client had Monkey Knots made for use as quick release pull for a heavy metal hatch cover. We find that they are quite the conversation starter, as well as a super zipper pulls or really cool key fob.

I don't know what's used for the core, but it's not too heavy. Well made, tight monkeyfist. Looks great on the keys and makes for a fun fidget toy.
