The TI Field Watch is Maratac's newest mid size watch into the hacking ( stops the second hand when adjusting the time ) movement market.
This watch is made to exemplify the purest form of time, which provides a simplistic feel to the watch. The TI Field Watch utilizes a Seiko NH-35 24 jewel movement known for its superior quality, accuracy and of course it's hacking feature. This movement provides up to 40 hours of power reserve when not in use.
This mid size watch is ideal for both formal and casual events, and is built to last with it's robust sapphire domed crystal.
This is another clean and simple design by Maratac™
Put mine on a brown leather band and it's seeing more time than my Seamaster America's Cup! Really nice watch and keeps GREAT time! Very happy, thinking of buying a second one to keep in reserve!
I have a few High End watches and I must say that MARATAC it’s on its way to set a standard on superior watch making at a affordable price ..The TI Field Watch is my go to daily wear watch the clean and simple Swiss Super LumiNova numbers and the soothing metallic blue hands demands attention for asking “what time is it”.....
this is my 2nd Maratac watch. First was a larger pilot watch. This is a great watch! It gives you great quality, it is rugged built and gives you that military field watch look, with very bright, long lasting lumination and jis ust the right size. (38 mm) I currently like this watch over my more expensive Marathon. I am quite pleased with this watch.
This is a good field watch. It is an excellent value. Is it perfect? No. But in fairness I'm still looking for that Holy Grail watch that pushes all my buttons. Gaston Glock has claimed perfection, but in reality; it is very difficult to reach. The movement is very accurate, as it only gains about 10 seconds each day. This is well within the factory specs. Thankfully, this watch is equipped with sapphire crystal on the front and back case. I've yet to scratch a sapphire crystal. All watches should have this feature. This is my 1st titanium watch that I have owned and it is noticeably lighter than my old standby Seiko SKX 007. The legibility of the face is outstanding. Big clear numbers, which are quick and easy to read. And I'm grateful for the sterile face. I need to tell the time, not the water resistance, the manufacturer, nor where it was made. Thank you. As I stated earlier this is not a perfect watch. Here are some ways to improve this piece. 1. Add a date window. I run log books, and fill out receipts all day, so a date window would be handy. 2. Move the crown from the 3 o'clock position, to the 4 o'clock position. It bangs into the back of my hand occasionally. 3. Make the strap wider, say 20-22 millimeter in width. The current width is too narrow, and it twists up too easily. If the next version incorporates these changes, you will give Gaston Glock a run for his money. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. No regrets.
Countycomm and Maratac deliver more value than most. Lightweight, retro looks, perfect size, functional tool field watch. Sapphire dome, NH35 movement, most outfits with equal stats would be looking for $500+ for a package like this. This is the most accurate NH35 I've experienced yet. If wound and worn, mine is keeping +2 sec/day. Won the lottery on that front, my gen 1 SR-35 is closer to +6 sec/day, which is still respectable.
If you want an early 20th century military throwback style watch, I think you would be hard pressed to do better. Copied another reviewer and put it on a Horween leather strap. Becoming a favorite out of my collection.
