If you want a stiff gun-belt watch strap, this isn't it. However, if you want to fit a 24mm strap between 20mm lugs, this is PERFECT. The strap is soft enough to be comfortable and still squeeze through smaller lugs and still be stout enough to do its job of being a watch strap. The stripe is woven through, not simply painted. It will last as long as the strap does. Very happy with this one.
High Quality!
Great fit!
Softer and more flexible material than the regular Maratac Zulu straps. Doesn't make the same firm "cuff" to hold the watch head in place (heavy GSAR), so I need to wear this tighter on the wrist. May not be an issue with smaller/lighter watches. The aesthetic is nice, but I much prefer the regular Zulu and see why these are half the price.
I'm not sure how many Maratac straps I own, but I know that they are, hands down, the best strap on the market. I bought my first Maratac strap in 2008 and every one that I have bought is still serviceable (although many of them look pretty rough after multiple deployments under harsh conditions). I bought this, with the blue stripe, for a Citizen Eco-drive Divers that has a dark blue face and dark blue bezel. It looks great with the blue stripe on the strap.
I only use Zulu watch bands on my two watches because I don't like the additional thickness of the extra strap on NATO straps, and most folks carry only NATO straps. I have purchase twice now from County Comm and based on my purchases so far am sure that when I order one of their 3-ring Zulu straps it will be made and comfortable.
Thanks, County Comm (and no, I don't work for them and haven't gotten any free straps!)
