Video Shows Orange G10 Variant Of This Knife!
Very nice little knife, with one big flaw. The knife comes with with the clip mounted for tip down carry, and provides an option for tip up carry. However, if you move the clip to the tip up position, when you put the pivot screw back in, it pushes the frame out of alignment, causing the blade to rub against the (non clip) side. I believe this happening because the pivot screw now travels an extra 32nd before it is tight. When the clip is mounted tip down, the blade is centered.
I think this could be remedied by providing an insert of the same thickness as the clip for the clip slot (pivot end) that isn't being used when carrying tip up.
How about it County Comm?
Absolutely love this thing! Has a feel that no other micarta handle has been able to offer!
This little knaf is GREAT!! When I saw the little slippy was on sale and then saw that it had my favorite handle material I couldn’t pass it up!
I’d been looking for a smaller knife to put in my pocket to replace the mini microtech auto. I loved the auto but it has a very pointy dagger grind and it didn’t werk for a lot of things like cleaning my nails, cutting food etc. This little slippy is PERFECT for that. It’s sharp as a laser and has a perfect pull, grip....I could go on and on. Needless to say this is a perfect little pocket knife. I highly recommend getting one!
I love this knife! The blade is of a quality steel and was mirror polished, hollow ground with a shaving sharp edge. It snaps open with a nice "click" and closes with an equally satisfying "thonk". The micarta is visually appealing and the rough finish (unlike my BM Proper's smooth micarta) provides a nice grip. The pocket clip works great and is reversible (no clip on BM Proper). If you are looking at a Benchmade Proper, get this instead (I have both and prefer the Boker, which is about 1/3 the price).
