You cannot ...cannot get a better folder than this!!.pix of my older model too!!. Just awesome!!
Very well engineered knife. Feels great in the hand. Easy one hand open and nice bit of retention force to hold blade in scales when closed.
The blade and handle quality, fit and finish, is excellent! Blade is thick and solid, no play or wobble. Very smooth opening, crisp and solid lock. If I had any complaints, it would only be with the location of the lanyard holes (for me, should be more to the end, about where the first clip screw is located). The clip is extremely stiff. I had to pry it with a screwdriver to make a little room for use. Otherwise works great. I love collecting all styles of knives, fixed and folding. This one is now in my top 5!
Pleased with the quality at this price, especially with the D2 blade steel, one of my favorites. Flipper action could be slicker; I may loosen the pivot bolt to play with that. This is a heavy knife — you won’t want to wear it with your gym shorts. But it will work well as a hard-use blade in a hiking or bugout kit.
Although this knife was made in Taiwan, I firmly believe it is as good as a made in Soligen Germany Boker. It is definitely smooth opening and the pocket clip is well designed and attached. I would love to see it made with Titanium scales, but only to lighten the overall load. I look forward to subjecting this knife to heavy field testing to see how well it handles cutting, chopping, box cutting whittling and even batoning and it could become my new EDC
