I recently wet on a tour of the Nordics. Weather was generally poor with rain but this pack kept gear and the extra clothes dry. Not meant for comfort but the pack was actually comfortable to use when loaded due to the wide straps. It was a winner!
My brother in arms has I knew of these and loves it for his trips exploring waterfalls throughout the world. I'd recommend a couple additions in design to include metal screening for RFID/ signal blocking. Could be used as a sensitive site bag? Add an exterior pocket for small items like ID and car keys, or passport. I took it recently on a "hike" thru some of Florida's hidden gems and nothing was destroyed by water, and it floated my lazy butt downstream when I needed a rest from debilitating pain, and saved the day when my nephew decided he couldn't swim any longer, trying to avoid the Florida monkeys and gators.
A simple bag, well-constructed. I put a light load inside and rolled it up, it stayed puffed up for a couple of days. Fulfills its role admirably.
This bag is really nice. Lightweight, no logo to attract attention, enough room for a change of clothes and all my EDC so I can ride through any weather.
I've wanted another ever since I picked one up from the first batch. These sacks are tough as nails.
