Factory edge is razor sharp. Very handy tool for almost any occasion. Glow scales make it harder to misplace and easier to find. Great piece of kit.
Very good value, for a every day carry knife. Was sharp right out of the box, and the glow in the dark was bright.
A good little knife that will handle 90% of tasks very well. The knife holds an edge well and haven't had to sharpen it yet. Arrived scary sharp right out of the box. I have tested every tool on it. The flat screwdriver is a decent prybar for its size, opened a 1 gallon paintcan easily. Strong enough torsionally to apply hose clamps as well as a regular screwdriver. The bottle opener works well for a brew. Wire stripper notch is limited to about 12 GA wire. I would have made it more of a V than a U. Stranded strips well, solid strips excellently. The serrated blade has a concave curve to it, and makes about a 45 degree angle to the handle. This works well for cutting tubing, hose or even thin wall plastic piping! The tip of this knife is a smaller flat bit, and worked well for adjusting screws on a carburetor. Beside this is a lanyard ring that easily passes a strand of 550 through it. The Philips bit is beefy, a size 2. It is in a high torque t-handle arrangement when deployed, and provided enough torque to fasten two pine 2x4s together with three 3" wood screws. Did not twist or bend. The glassbreaker is carbide, and will hold it's 135 degree point even after using it as a centerpunch in steel for drilling, a scribe for marking steel and wood, and of course, shattering glass. The glowong scales when charged with natural sunlight during the day will be visible to the eye at dawn, a dark period of 12 hours. Testing it alongside a few glow fobs, I found that it's color and intensity match that of the strontium aluminate, which is the good stuff. What would I change? Maybe the grind, hollow grind makes for a great slicer, the drip point lends a lot of strength. I would use a scandi or flat for greater strength at the edge. I would also make the main blade out of M390 or CTS-204P. Both bomber steels that really perform. For the money, this is one knife that will really work and work well for a great majority of tasks.
