This knife was exactly what I was looking for as it features everything I need / use - and nothing I don't need. The weight and thickness is perfect. Not too bulky, but at the same time weighs enough to remind me its there. Boker and CountyComm did a great job on this knife, and the ultra glow in the dark scales are excellent. A++
Previously purchased a similar Böker with Carbon Fiber grip panels, but that model was more like the SAK Camper, having a saw, corkscrew, and awl. I really enjoy Glow-In-The-Dark items, including the few SAK models with their GITD panels, so when this item came along, I decided to purchase it and swap the panels, so that the more outdoorsy Böker now sports the GITD, and this more "urban" model has the tad lighter CF panels. Good brightness and persistence on these GITD panels, too.
As for the Böker knife itself, this is an alternative to the SAK Tinker, minus the SAK sewing eye awl, but adding Böker pocket clip, and "glass breaker point", and trading the SAK short blade for Böker's interesting "strap/cord cutter", which opens to about 135 degrees instead of 180 for perhaps more effective cutting of cordage and strapping.
All in all, this model does make a very useful "urban EDC", and the GITD panels add more "there it is!" help for the user not to lose it, both day and at night.
I purchased this knife a while back. I use it when I don't need anything heavy duty for the day or if I need to be in an office setting. It's small and compact like a SAK, but the blade is bigger and I enjoy the fact it has a pocket clip. This mutlti-tool is rather inconspicuous around the office, and the fact that it glows in the dark makes it way less menacing to non-knife people. It's got the basics that I tend to use on a daily basis. I recently bought one for my friend for his birthday as he needed something small for work and with basic tools for small household things. He really enjoys it and it's become a daily carry for him. Definitely would buy this one again. I have a small Boker Tech Tool 1, that's just the blade for carry at nicer events, and the quality of that knife led me to this one. Overall it's probably the best Swiss Army Knife alternative on the market.
