These Dot - 1 ”x .20 ” Universal Glow Markers (UGM’s) or simply Glow In The Dark Epoxy Resin rounds are perfect for marking all your gear making it easy to find in the dark. These are a super bright, long lasting, reusable glow stick that does not wear out. They do not use batteries, bulbs or electricity.
They recharge quickly by absorbing light from any light source. The brighter the light source, the brighter they glow.
Their original use was as emergency markers, marking survival equipment onboard submarines. The Navy required them to be “non-powered, rugged, re-usable, and non-nuclear”. We use them everywhere including hanging them from the inside door knobs at hotels to help us find our way out.

Initially got these to put on the four corners of of my tents rain fly when I camp/backpack. They work great! No more tripping on guy lines! Also, put one on my dogs collar along with her tags. She is solid black and now can easily be seen and kept track of at night!
I’m using one of my keyring and one on a flashlight. It actually works! It glows bright enough I can grab my flashlight in the dark.
these things are great markers for night hikes. Just tie one to the back of everyone's bag and its very easy to not lose a party member. They are easy to cover if you need to go dark, they fit right in a molle strap.
I love these little glow markers, they are the perfect size to put on a key ring for when you drop your car keys in the dark. The glow lasts a nice long time also (at least overnight, probably 24 hours+ although I haven't measured).
