The Ti quartz is a classic well-executed design, with excellent legibility, long-lasting lume at night, super lightweight and very good machining. The quality/cost is as good as a discounted Seiko Prospex or Citizen Promaster. If the
movment is as good as the case, it's one of the best watch buys available.
To make a long story short - best titanium price value Pilot watch! Great manufactured and incredible bright Lume! I would highly recommend it and buy it again! #uhrwatchgermany (Instagram)
This was my choice for a Christmas gift to myself and I love shopping on County Comm! This is a killer watch, I really like bigger watches, but I have to say, this one really looks great, got some extra bands and put on the orange nato a few days ago, I love it, it's visible, it's well built and so far is keeping flawless time. Wish it had the date like the previous model, oh well, can't have everything I know Marathon is a great company and you can't get this anywhere but county comm!! Thanks guys! Now you've got me into the German Flieger watches-- thanks :) $$
The watch is a looker. I love the secondary independent 24 hour time zone feature which is super helpful when I am traveling and I want to know what time it is at home. The date feature is a nice touch as well. It's very light due to the titanium body and is probably one of my most comfortable watches to date. The watch has to be dialed in to the zero position and then adjusted. so that the date changes with the time properly and not in the middle of the day but that is a not really an issue. The quality is nice but seems like the tolerances weren't as high as the other watches, but the other watches cost more too. My only real issue is the second hand doesn't line up with the marks at all. It's really off usually landing in the middle of the marks and it makes it look a lot more shoddy that it is but more than that, I use watches when I work because I need to be able tell the exact amount of seconds that have passed and because the second hand doesn't line up properly it's become quite the annoyance.
I love the face of this watch. The dial is clear and easy to read. The fit and finish is excellent. However, it only accepts 18mm NATO straps which are too narrow for a man. I'm attempting some convoluted modification of a 22mm strap with notches taken out to see if that fixes things. For a future revision, please make the dial bigger and the posts wide enough to take a 22mm strap!
