I have a Luminox 3151 that I wear daily. The original rubber band lasted 6 months and split at the seam where the buckle attaches to the band. After seeing what it cost to replace it, and realizing that the design is flawed and that it will break again, I replaced it with a Maratac composite band. That band lasted for close to two years before I replaced it with another Maratac composite. The first band was still very functional, but I was starting to see small cracks around the edges where it sat on the underside of my wrist and I decided to replace it with a new one. These bands are very comfortable and durable and I expect that I will continue to use them on this watch as long as it runs.
Note that the Luminox 3151 takes a 22mm band, but I found with some careful "adjusting" with a razor blade, I was able to shave off 1mm on each side of the connection point and make the band fit perfectly. It would be great if these came in 22mm width, but adjusting them to fit takes less than 5 minutes,
