CountyComm is based in California, where our governor has proposed banning drinking straws. The good folks in our Machine Shop made these Reusable Titanium Drinking Straws in response. If you must use a re-usable straw, this is definitely the one to have.
Solid Grade 5 Titanium, Thick wall, big bore construction works great with hot, cold, thin or thick liquids. The Titanium is BPA and chemical free leaving no aftertaste.
Titanium, being chemically inert doesn’t have the allergy risks that many other reusable options have. (Yes, you can anodize the Grade 5 Ti-Straw)
Our client, Mr. Grayman told us that he likes the Ti-Straw because not only does it allow him to drink comfortably, but it allows him to have a rigid tool readily available in his drink without anyone thinking anything about it. Mr. Grayman seems to be the master of blending with his surroundings.
Ti-Straws are available straight or bent. While the Ti Straw is dishwasher safe, we include a cleaning brush. Also wash before first use.
( Heat treatable with a fine tip flame or torch )
Nice quality , great price , bought three. One for me two as gifts, would buy again as presents.
I really like this straw. It’s nice and lightweight, but still strong. It goes well with the CountyComm nylon sheath that I bought for it. I flame-colored mine using a butane torch, and that came out great too. I also have the much thicker and heavier version they put out. I would like this smaller one more if the walls were just a bit thicker, to make it feel that much stronger. But I’m sure I’m going to get a lot of great use out of this straw, and I recommend it.
I love the angled tip, but I wish the point was a little more aggressive for my uses. This seems to be more TSA minded in design which I do appreciate and let's see if it stays with my canteen as I pass through screening.
