County Comm, Inc. is pleased to carry this exciting new product. How often do you need some cord during your adventure only to find it all tangled up, or worse yet, you left it back at your base camp?
Rapid Rope is your solution! Rapid Rope gives you 120 feet of 1100 lb test cord in a easy to deploy canister at your fingertips.
Weight 14.5 Ounces
The canister is just a little larger than a 12oz soda can and features an integrated cutter. This means the canister easily fits in your hand, pack, even your drink holder. What we like best the cord deploys from the canister in any direction (even upside down) and if you drop the canister, it doesn't unspool leaving you tangled in a mess. you can actually deploy cord and cut it using just one hand.
We have already shipped a bunch out to Bomb Techs who are using it for Hook And Line operations. Our Search And Rescue friends think Rapid Rope has lots of applications. We are using it ourselves on the ranch. We never knew how handy having 120 feet of tangle free rope could be. We have Rapid Rope in ATVs, our Go-Bags and trucks.
Our tower climbers think Rapid Rope is the best for unplanned lowering operations. They take the canister up in their tool bag, and if they need to send a line down to recover a part or tool from the ground, or to lower a damaged antenna or strobe, they can do that.
You never know where adventure will take you, but we know we will take Rapid Rope on our adventures.
Note: While Rapid Rope is very strong, it is not designed for Life Safety Operations. Make good choices!
Note: Each listing is for Qty 1 of a specific color and not all 3!
This is replacing some paracord I keep in my car for “just in case” scenarios. Great stuff, so simple to use.
Very neat and handy to keep in the car for emergencies or bring home the annual Christmas tree 🎄.
Mastering a shank of rope is an achievable skill and you'd think it might obviate the need for such a product. The fact is, this is handier. If you're trying to make things simpler for yourself, it's for you. Furthermore, if someone else in the family lacks your rope-handling skills, then buy one and leave it the car for their sake.
By the way, I've confirmed it fits in a bike bottle cage. And no, I am not suggesting you should carry 120 feet of rope on your rides. However, if you want to mount this "bottle of rope" somewhere, just buy yourself an inexpensive bike bottle cage and amaze yourself and your friends.
Ideal for rapid use with plenty of strength to go around. Will be purchasing additional canisters.
