- LED Type: Cree XP-G3 with a life span up to 50,000 hours. ( Newest & Brightest Emitter REV 6 )
- The reflector is aluminum alloy.
- Flashlight body is made of solid billet ultra conductive pure alloy 101 copper.
- The lens has been treated with an AR (Anti-Reflective) coating.
- Its proprietary circuit design features reverse polarity protection and runs off of one AA battery that provides 3 levels of brightness ( Low / Medium / High ).
Using A Single Duracell AA battery we got the following results:
- Low Mode, 5 lumen output for 75 Hours
- Medium Mode, 45 lumen output for 4.5 Hours
- High Mode, 245 lumen output for 75 Minutes
A Note From The Legal Department: We do not recommend the use of 14500 Rechargeable batteries with this flashlight unless its an Eneloop Cell. It is designed to use off the shelf alkaline, lithium, NiMH or Nicad AA batteries. We do not recommend use of higher voltage batteries. Any attempt to modify these lights will void the warranty. We know when you try to remove the Pill.
My girlfriend bought me one of these for Christmas years ago. I carried it a lot and it was nicely patina’ed. Then I lost it. I’m an edc junky so she didn’t really notice when I carried a different flashlight but would comment ‘Is that the one I bought you?’ So I had to get another. Still a great robust light. There’s cheaper lights with more tricks but this guy remains one of my faves.
This light is built like a tank and I enjoy the temperature of the light. It is starting to patina and it just looks better every day. I don’t go anywhere without it.
Small but powerful. Somehow nearly unnoticeable in the pocket but with a nice weight in the hand. Easy to use with one hand. After going through many supposedly edc flashlights that didn’t live up to the rigours of being in a pocket everyday this stands up. Elegant, bright when needed, dim when wanted. Very useful indeed. Easily found and replaced battery. Does exactly what I want. Perfect for my uses.

I have carried the Copper CR 123 light on my key ring for some years. This Copper AA light will be my pocket carry. 5 stars!
