Using a single Duracell AAA battery we got the following results:

As a handyman it’s an essential tool for me.
When painting I can clip it to my hat and on the medium setting it will run for about 8 hours!!! I’ve carried one for over 10 years now, and bought this last one as a back up just in case!!!

seems to be perfect for little, old lady pocket/key chain carry. I can turn it off and on without a few choice words, and, so far, it has not turned itself on in my pocket.
I have a few different brands of triple A flashlights. This is by far my favorite. It's ability to change brightness with a little twist, has a clip, and as with all triple A lights, the battery is easily swapped.
Compared to the 3 other keychain lights I have, this is the best. After discount + shipping + tax = $32.54.... $25.45 just for the light.
For weight with AAA battery; Maglight (1oz), Lumintop EDC AAA (.9oz), Lumintop EDC01 (.9oz), Maratac Rev5 (.8oz).
Not only is this the lightest AAA flashlight I've found, it's functionality is superior.
- Throws well even at the 1.5lumen point.
- Has the perfect light levels.
- Pocket clip stops rolling which happens a lot with the EDC01.
- Reversible pocket clip allows for use with a hat.
- Knurling is perfect for grip. Best of the bunch.
Cons;
- Scratchiest threading out of the bunch (this more or less doesn't matter).
- The glow ring is pure trash. Way too thin to see and annoys me every time I notice it's there.
- Light tint is too cool. Needs to be warmer. To be fair, the other lights are all too cool so it might be a cool tint is the only good option for a light this size given they are all like that.
I am pleasantly surprised by this light.
This small three output aluminum bodied flashlight is worth every penny it sells for. On a key ring, as a pendant on a beaded chain, just loose in a front pocket, when you need a dependable source of light, you'll have it. It may sound like I need some couch time but I have carried mine so long it feels like a friend. It exemplifies what EDC is all about. It's made for the job.
