How to use the movement in detail ( Here )
The Miyota 9075 GMT movement is a versatile and accurate automatic movement commonly found in watches with a GMT complication. To set the Miyota 9075 GMT, follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Unscrew the bottom Crown Out counter clockwise to the Correct Position
1 First position (winding): If the watch has stopped, wind the crown clockwise until you feel resistance. This will wind the movement and get it going.
2 Second position (date and 24-hour hand setting): Pull the crown to the second position to adjust the date and 24-hour hand.
3 Third position (time setting): Pull the crown all the way out to the third position for setting the time.
Step 2: Setting the Date
• Date adjustment: Turn the crown in the clockwise direction while in the second position to adjust the date. Be sure to do this when the time is not near midnight (to avoid damaging the date-change mechanism). If you’re unsure about the time, set it a few hours away from midnight first to avoid this problem.
Step 3: Setting the GMT Hand (24-Hour Hand)
• The GMT hand (often red or another contrasting color) indicates the time in a second time zone. To adjust the GMT hand, rotate the crown counterclockwise while in the second position. Move the hand forward or backward depending on which time zone you want it to reflect.
Step 4: Setting the Time
• Time adjustment: Pull the crown to the third position and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to set the time. Make sure you set the correct AM/PM time if your watch uses a 12-hour format. If the GMT hand was set for a different time zone, keep that in mind as you set the regular time.
Step 5: Push the Crown Back In
• Once everything is set, push the crown back in to its normal position to start the movement.
Additional Tips:
• AM/PM confusion: If your watch uses a 12-hour time format, you might need to adjust the time when setting the hour hand so it aligns correctly with your GMT hand.
• Changing the date: Avoid changing the date between 8 PM and 4 AM, as this can cause damage to the date-change mechanism.
Once you've set the time and date, you're good to go! Then screw the crown down clockwise and your set.

As I wrote on the CountyComm Gear Chat FB Group, I was really torn on this one.
Maratac watches have always punched above their weight, I don't think that anyone will dispute that. But for me, the price tag on this one made me put it back from my shopping cart *several* times. I finally pulled the trigger after reading a fellow CountyComm FB Group member's comment about wanting one to pair with his DC50. I have a stainless DC50 that's rarely come off my wrist in the last 2 and 1/2 years, so that got me thinking. With other Maratac watches already in my collection, in the end, I couldn't help but add the Alto Mare.
To be absolutely truthful, while I like the look and weight of Ti, how easily it gets scratched in an EDC role held me back. This price-range means "tool watch" to me (I currently have over 30 sub-$1K microbrands, both US-domestic as well as from Asia and the EU), and I treat them as-such. The clasp and the ulnar side of the bracelet of my SS DC50 are really scratched-up -and of-course the case and bezel, too- but that's par...so the Alto Mare's full-Ti does worry me a bit on that front. I guess I will take solace in the fact that each scratch/ding on the Alto will remind me of some happy memory!
Now that I've had the watch for a few months, I've gotta say that I don't regret the purchase at all. It looks great in pictures, but in-person, it's jaw-dropping gorgeous. The Ti has a subtly darker finish than stainless, and for a watch this size, it just feels so light on the wrist.
As with my SS DC50, this watch is undeniably chonky/thicc. However, again as with the DC50, it doesn't wear that way. Those finely milled end-links tapering down to the 22mm bracelet make for perfect proportions. I'm down two links and on the 3rd microadjustment detent from clasp hinge, on a 7.5 inch wrist (pictured below). And speaking of that clasp, the hidden jeweling is a classy touch. Overall, the gray hue of the case and bracelet make for a stunning offset to the dark dial and the orange highlights of the bezel and hands. Somehow, the watch manages to look both complicated and simple at the same time.
While the Myota 9075 is young, reception to it has been overwhelmingly positive (it's my movement of choice, actually, for my microbrand GMTs), and I hope it proves durable - in the meantime, I know that I will enjoy using it for traveling, allowing me to check-in with my loved ones other time-zones without mental gymnastics. That trick inner/outer bezel setup makes for incredible versatility and utility.
I live in an area where Omegas, Rolexes, and IWCs are a dime a dozen. Yet, my DC50 and Alto Mare are the ones that seem to draw appreciative attention.

This watch has everything I want, all in the same elegant package: First it must be a dive watch. (I dive! Not deep enough to test the helium valving, but it's comforting and a coolness factor to have it.) I also wanted a "real" GMT (not an "office" version that just re-purposes the day wheel). And titanium is my preference over steel, by a mile: strong, light, elegant.
And the total package is well designed mechanically and esthetically. I'm proud to wear this watch as a daily, keeping track of my daughter's local time, while knowing I'm prepared for the next dive or international travel.
