The Revision 3 (Rev 3) represents a complete evolution of our signature writing instrument. Born from the need for a simple, indestructible tool for the shop and the cockpit, the Rev 3 strips away the unnecessary to leave behind an engineering masterpiece.

The Evolution of the Monoblock

For this generation, we moved to a sophisticated monoblock styling. The entire chassis is precision-machined from a single perspective, flowing seamlessly from the tip back for a clean, uninterrupted silhouette. We’ve also introduced a solid machined clip, ensuring the pen remains securely anchored whether it's in a flight suit pocket or a heavy-duty tool roll.

Forget the fragile plastic clickers of the past. The Flight Suit Pen uses a tactile, mechanical engagement—drop the tip with a quick flick of the thumb and you're ready to work. In reverse, the pen tip retracts fully into the head for safe, leak-proof carry.

Still great craftsmanship.

Like the original but with a smooth actuating pen clip. I have the very first flight suit pen and this is an awesome edition to the line. Writing ink is great with no skips. I still have the original pen with its original ink capsule functions perfectly. Enjoy, if you decide.

So good

I have always been a fan of the madmax bolt pens and have at least one in every material got this pen in a mystery pack and it's my everyday pen in my shirt pocket now. If I had realized that's what a flight suit pen was I would have ordered one years ago. Love the bolt action mechanism built into the pocket clip. Excellent style and functionality.

Fantastic pen! I love the slim design and bolt action mechanism is nice and smooth.
The knurling grip is very grippy and at the same time not very noticeable in that it doesn't catch on fabric (as is the inteded design) but it also doesn't give a strange tactile sensation like some knurling/grip patterns can tend to do. I also appreciate the detail that the grip gets slightly deeper into the metal as it goes up toward the clip, almost like it has a worn appearance from being used - props to whomever thought of that!
Just a little feedback on a future iteration, having the bolt action function from the opposite direction seems like it would feel more natural - thumb down and towards the palm to deploy, go the opposite way to retract it.
