Original government use unknown. We have a limited overrun of Delrin® boxes. We are not quite sure what Uncle Sam is putting in his lightweight capsules, but we are using ours to keep small important items close and secure. Brand new, never used, overrun from government contract.

Better than expected

I like the slender design. Fits well in a pouch/purse. I am using it for a pill case and it is roomy. It is reasonably easy to open and yet I feel it is very secure. I do not think anything will escape.

The black box

Great little storage box, using mine to store spare fisher space pen refills. Holds four as the picture shows. Looks a little nicer then store packaging and stores away nicely in my art chest. Takes up very little space!

No detents

Bought to store heart medications for travel/emergencies. Contrary to description, no perceptible detent on either end, so will have to tape shut. Would not buy for this use.
