I use these for a ton of uses, including keeping an ammonia inhalant safe while at work, and keeping ibuprofen with me in the car. However, I will warn that the 21700 case does not fit the rechargeable Acebeam 5100mAh, used in several Acebeam lights. I’ll continue my search to find a solution so I can carry a spare with me at work!
I don’t know why they don’t advertise it, but a 3.7V ICR 14500 lithium battery fits nicely into the AA holder! Great to be able to carry an already charged 14500 for my EDC Maratac.
It’s odd that someone wrote that the 14500 lithium ion would not fit in the AA holder because I have the battery described above in my holder. It goes in and out easily.
Been eyeballing these battery lockers for years, finally ordered some. Very nicely machined, I got the AAA and the 21700, both are excellent. I look forward to ordering more in the future.
The 'CR123 Battery Locker' fits my 'Streamlight' 123A battery. The capsule is thick plastic, and so, is lightweight, but is very strong. You could step on it empty or drop it from a height of 6-feet onto concrete and it would not break. The top makes at least 7-revolutions in screwing-on, so the top stays on securely and would contain any battery leakage. It has a hole in the top for looping onto a cord. I always keep my batteries outside any flashlight that I rarely use; so, this capsule is great for protecting my battery from damage. It is as compactly made as possible. It is perfect for its purpose.
I only use the AAA vault to hold a battery. The other ones, I use for various other things. These are only limited by your imagination!
