They Do So Much!

On a visit to our local airport we noticed all the A&P (air frame & power plant) mechanics were sporting these nifty rings to keep their keys and small tools organized. We thought they were so cool we had some made for us. They are made from stainless aviation cable with brass screws and barrels.

Small ring caveat if you have finger/hand problems

*IF* you have finger numbness, difficulty with small fiddly items, you should know that the smaller ring is somewhat difficult to align into the closing position. The cable is stiff and doesn't bend into a circle very easily making the task of turning the barrel somewhat difficult- especially if one suffers from any hand/finger/ wrist problems and plans to *open and close this ring often.*

I'd like to add that the rings are well made and have enough thread on the closure that will keep them securely connected. I would buy them again: both the 4" and 6" but knowing the nature of the smaller ring I'd plan for it to be in a "set it and forget it" scenario.
