Convenient

Not too big, not too small. Like the markers, tritium. The strap makes it easy to loop around the belt and have the compass handy. Saw one of these 20-30 yrs ago. I promised myself I would buy one someday. I think much of what I buy at CountyComm is things I wished I had purchased before and now I have another chance to get them.

A Better Wrist Compass

I have been wearing name brand mini compasses on my watch strap for many years as my work often has me giving directions or being asked to report someplace specific, like "North Gate" in an area I have never been in before. The popular wrist watch band compasses are always small and tend to be influenced by the metal in my watch. This one is different. Very simple, clean face that is easy to read - even with my older eyes. Reacts quickly and simply without bouncing around. The bright tritium markings make it even better. Buying another for my son...

Handy

I really like useful tools and this compass is useful. Larger face than most wrist compasses . Easy to read, great CC quality, and conveniently located on my wrist. Perfect for trailblazing to that new undiscovered fishing spot. Now CC needs to offer more selection of 16mm wrist bands

Cammenga Quality just like their Military Issue Tritium Compass

I have used the Cammenga Military Issue Tritium Compass during my 24 years in the US Army. I relied on its accuracy and durability to get me where I needed to be. When I saw this Cammenga Wrist Compass on CountyComm I immediately purchased it. It looks bigger than it is in the picture. The face of the compass is approximately the size of a Quarter (.25 cent). It has three Tritium vials on it, two on the glass and one on the NORTH Arrow. The rest of the dial is phosphorescent. Don't make the same mistake I did. When I first got it, I thought that the Tritium Vials were the only luminous parts on the compass. Even after holding it under a light source, the dial remained dark and only the tritium markings showed in a dark room. I was bummed. But then I remembered that in the new technological days of LED light bulbs, LEDs do not always activate the phosphorescence. After taking it outside in direct sunlight for a few minutes, the dial glowed brightly in a dark room. Outstanding piece of equipment!!!
