The background:
This is a project we have been working on for two years. Most wrenches are forged from tool steel, but It was determined that this wrench must be Titanium. Why Titanium? It’s extremely corrosion resistant, featuring No/Low magnetic signature. Extraordinarily strong, titanium possesses a greater strength-to-weight ratio than stainless, steel or aluminum. Titanium weighs about 60% less than steel in density, producing tools at nearly half the weight of steel.
This means that the wrench needed to be machined out of a solid billet of Titanium. Making an adjustable wrench in the machine shop is a lot more complicated than it sounds.

I was disassembling a pneumatic set up some gorilla maintenance guy assembled way too tight. I did feel the flex of titanium so I went with a steel tool and still could not take the fitting off!
Nobody makes better Ti tools than CC,. Period. That said, nobody can conpetr with the CC Ti tool value proposition at this price. (Compare at $400-$500 elsewhere) I have every Ti adjustable wrench CC makes. These are the best!
For more than 10x the price of a steel wrench you get one that is essentially rust proof, lightweight and too cool for school - CountyComm has done it again. Please make a 10" version that I can get without going bankrupt! I also have the 6" and they are both solid.
I have purchased each of the adjustable wrenches in the series: 3”, 4”, 6” and now 8”. The execution and materials are excellent, as you would expect. In the world of normal tools, my used for adjustable wrenches basically starts at 8”. This is a real tool for real use.
I can’t tell you what happens when you try to bust free a rusted fastener, or when you put a 3 foot cheater bar on this thing. A lot of adjustable wrenches that allegedly are made of steel do not do well in those cases, and I honestly have not had the motivation to try that with this wrench.
However, in normal use, this wrench is terrific. It feels good in the hand, it is extremely well-made, and it literally weighs nothing. If you have room in your bag and budget for this ranch, I highly recommend it.
I have the other sizes of these wrenches and they pretty great. Great to have in the tool bag in a pinch and dont add much weight
