How to use the movement in detail ( Here )
The Miyota 9075 GMT movement is a versatile and accurate automatic movement commonly found in watches with a GMT complication. To set the Miyota 9075 GMT, follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Unscrew the bottom Crown Out counter clockwise to the Correct Position
1 First position (winding): If the watch has stopped, wind the crown clockwise until you feel resistance. This will wind the movement and get it going.
2 Second position (date and 24-hour hand setting): Pull the crown to the second position to adjust the date and 24-hour hand.
3 Third position (time setting): Pull the crown all the way out to the third position for setting the time.
Step 2: Setting the Date
• Date adjustment: Turn the crown in the clockwise direction while in the second position to adjust the date. Be sure to do this when the time is not near midnight (to avoid damaging the date-change mechanism). If you’re unsure about the time, set it a few hours away from midnight first to avoid this problem.
Step 3: Setting the GMT Hand (24-Hour Hand)
• The GMT hand (often red or another contrasting color) indicates the time in a second time zone. To adjust the GMT hand, rotate the crown counterclockwise while in the second position. Move the hand forward or backward depending on which time zone you want it to reflect.
Step 4: Setting the Time
• Time adjustment: Pull the crown to the third position and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to set the time. Make sure you set the correct AM/PM time if your watch uses a 12-hour format. If the GMT hand was set for a different time zone, keep that in mind as you set the regular time.
Step 5: Push the Crown Back In
• Once everything is set, push the crown back in to its normal position to start the movement.
Additional Tips:
• AM/PM confusion: If your watch uses a 12-hour time format, you might need to adjust the time when setting the hour hand so it aligns correctly with your GMT hand.
• Changing the date: Avoid changing the date between 8 PM and 4 AM, as this can cause damage to the date-change mechanism.
Once you've set the time and date, you're good to go! Then screw the crown down clockwise and your set.
It brings me joy every time I look at it.
This is an amazingly versatile and beautiful watch. Glad I went with the titanium version. I removed 3 links and the weight is only 4.6 oz. It is comfortable for 24/7 wear. I also think the gunmetal gray finish looks great and compliments the other colors used perfectly. The precision of the markings has to be seen to be believed. Additionally, the markings are 'all' lumed without voids or overfill. The lume of the hands and hour markings is excellent and are visible all night which is a new experience for a non-tritium watch for me. The small markings can't hold a lot of lume volume and although they look brilliant initially, they don't last like the hands and hour markers. The font of the inner and outer bezels is small but it has to be for all of the included time keeping features. You will need average close-in eyesight to read the numbers easily. The orange coloring is brilliant and is essentially florescent. The contrast with the black dial and markings is amazing above and below water. The ceramic bezel is highly polished and precise at 120 clicks. The limited vertical knurling and snug retention of the bezel are ideal to prevent accidental movement caused by bumping the watch against something. The only unexpected thing regarding the bezel is where the ceramic was machined for numerals and paint, those areas seem exposed, although they are recessed and protected that way. I guess I was expecting some clear overcoat. Evidently this is a standard process for marking ceramic bezels to maximize contrast. Both crowns operate perfectly, are easy to turn, and close tightly. After a couple of weeks, the movement is running +10 seconds/day. Not bad for my use to adjust once a week if I want to keep it close. If I ever want more precision I can get it dialed in.
In addition to everything above, I really like that this is a unique watch, and isn't trying to be something else. Additionally, the practicality and features are ideal. Whoever designed this watch has really figured it out. I have been looking for the perfect mechanical dive watch for a long time. I came across this design and had to have it. Love the trident logo and that maybe 1 in 50000 people could identify this watch. 500M, He release valve, GMT, two timing bezels... home run.
SO I've had this watch for a few months now and love it but the big thing it's missing is some type of micro-adjust or quick adjust in the clasp. I bought it specifically because I wanted an all titanium watch on a bracelet. I own a lot of watches, the majority at a much higher price point and some less but all have some form of quick micro-adjustment. This is as well built and fit and finish is as good as about any watch I own. The bracelet and end link fit is actually better than my Explorer II. I wish they would come out with a V2 that has some type of glide lock or even a flip link extender. I would gladly pay to get an updated adjustable clasp to refit. If you have smaller wrists this is fairly thick, which I personally like, but it's so light it wears much smaller. Movement is solid and the lume (pictured) is about as good looking as any watch you'll find.

Was referred to this watch by a colleague and I was sceptical, but after having the watch for over a few weeks, I can say that I wish I would have purchased sooner. Great layout and easy to read dial. Titanium looks great and the lume at night is amazing. Really great watch, I will be on the look out for more products. Great work!
