What is Tritium ? Tritium or hydrogen-3 is a rare and radioactive isotope of hydrogen. The nucleus of tritium contains one proton and two neutrons, whereas the nucleus of the common isotope hydrogen-1 contains just one proton, and that of hydrogen-2 contains one proton and one neutron.

Q: Is Tritium dangerous?
A: No.
Tritium is unable to diffuse through these glass vials. Further, since Tritium is a low energy beta emitter, even if a tritium vial was broken, it is NOT dangerous externally (its beta particles are unable to penetrate human skin)

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulates the use and distribution of self-illuminated tritium devices. Works exactly as described, very bright, always lit, no need to charge or expose to light.
This is a pretty small fob. It glows nicely but I really don't see how you'd want to use it to break glass. How would you even hold it?
The tritium glow fob is bright. It keep it on my key ring, which also allows me to have the glass breaker ready available if I ever need it. I intend to buy more.
These little breakers are a great size. The color in low light is bright. I’ve added a few to my key sets. Would be nice if was a little cheaper for what it is or even a discount in a multiple pack.
This is perfect for adding to your EDC. I threw it on my keys, but it would be great for a jacket zipper, knife lanyard , or even a pocket organizer. Not super bright, but you’ll be able to find those keys in the dark!
