Built from Ultem Bar Stock and Grade 5 Titanium clip and screws, this pen is as durable as it is sleek, delivering timeless style with everyday functionality.

I really love my new MaxMadCo bolt action pen! The ultem is very lightweight and durable. The titanium clip is extremely strong. This is one of the main things that I love about it because I have polo shirts for work with a pocket on the left sleeve exclusively for pens and too many times I have either lost one or almost lost one due to them falling out. I definitely do not have to worry about that with this pen. The topo design, though subtle, looks really cool and provides extra grip. I also like that I can put pressurized refills in it because you never know when you might find yourself needing to jot something down while underwater. Perhaps you decide to leave the planet....you know you will eventually have to write down a math formula so you can calculate the amount of rocket fuel necessary to perform a slingshot maneuver around a planet in order to gain enough velocity to catch up to that spaceship full of hot alien chicks! This pen can do all of those things and more!
I have an embarrassing number of expensive pens and this one has surprisingly become one of my favorites. I didn’t buy into the whole fidget factor thing, but it’s real with this pen. The plethora of compatible refills is a nice touch, and yes the Fisher space pen refill does work (with slightly more rattling when shaken), as long as you have the adapter installed. The customer service team has also been phenomenal in answering my neurotic questions about this pen and others.

One of the best pens I've ever had! The weight settles nicely in the hand (I'm used to a little weight in things,)
It uses standard Fisher refills (which I keep around, since I use them in a number of other pens,) I can't figure out how to break it, and the bolt-action has become automatic (and easier than an and end button!)
My sole and only complaint is that the front half tends to come loose at times, and I have to tighten it back up. Perhaps a small O-ring could be installed here as friction retention, or a mildly deformed thread? (I prefer deformed threads for retention, but I am aware that it's a bit of extra work.)
Aside from that one, tiny hiccup - good, solid pen. And something I'd likely trust as a rope anchor as well. . .
Light weight, good looking, reliable pen. Slips in your shirt pocket and disappears until it’s time to use it. Love it.
Amazing quality! Especially for a bolt action pen. Just received my second. A must have for those who are Ultem enthusiasts as well!
