Perfect replacement antenna . Easy install.
Always good to have a spare part when you can. Must have!
With the GP5-SSB out of production it only stands to reason stocks of the replacement antenna will dry up. Makes sense to get one now.
This stainless steel antenna is far less likely to break than the antenna that comes with most shortwave receivers. However when Murphy's Law is applied to SW radios, the most likely thing to break is an antenna. Hence this spare is an essential piece of gear for a DIY replacement in the field. Kudos to CountyComm for making this available.
One screw, and you can replace your antenna if it breaks. Keeping a spare antenna will save you the time and hassle. It's common sense. Get it!
