The resin band finally gave out on my old GA100 so I decided to give these a shot. The were super easy to install. I did have to take off just a little material to get them on my watch. I think this may have been due to the pins I was using. Overall would buy again!
These adapters are amazing and hold up to the most rugged of activities
I've gotten into G Shocks in the last year or so. The 1st thing I found was the default straps on the GW6900-1 and GA800-1A were really cheap. I found a site that sold 3D printed attachments to allow for a Zulu/NATO style straps for the GW6900 and was happy with them. However, the pieces are pretty rigid and likely to break at some point. When I got the GA800, I found these attachments decided to get them. After a week or so, I am really digging them.
They are more rubbery than rigid, allowing them to flex, so I don't foresee them breaking like the other style. The color also matches the black body of the watch perfectly. They're a tiny bit more shiny, but not a huge deal. Installation was tricky, getting the pins in, but once I did, I knew they were there for good.
Long story short, really happy with the look, quality and functionality of these strap attachments. Thanks!
the adapters work but are a little smaller than my watch case, but it looks like it will work for now.
This is an awesome product idea but the fit is exceptionally tight on a DW5600 resulting in difficulty installing. The final overall length of the strap lugs is a touch long for use with the maratac NATO straps too. Ultimately it works well, but, considering the over and above quality of the Maratac watch straps, which are the best NATO I’ve tried, I was left expecting slightly more. Since this is a unique product on the market I would recommend it if you wanted a NATO’d g-shock but understand the fitment isn’t perfect.
