Maratac® did it again. They took the U.S. Government specifications watchbands and then made them better. Maratac® made these new bands better and stronger than U.S. Military spec # MIL-S-46383. Maratac® used their ultrasonic drilling process to cut perfect holes that eliminate rough spots around the holes. These new Maratac® Mil Series bands feature non-magnetic stainless steel buckles that have been coated with mil spec black phosphate to eliminate possible reflection. How could it get better? Maratac® added more colors and larger selection of sizes than Uncle Sam ever thought of.

Gold Standard. . .

Maratac"Mil Series" have been my go-to choice for years. Divers & Tool watches comprise my rotation. These bands are quick to change, secure, and quite spiffy! Easy to coordinate with wardrobe as well. Keep them quality, and keep them coming.
Sincerely, Steve

"Mil Series" Bands by Maratac are great!

The "Mil Series" Bands by Maratac are my favorite watch strap. They're tough and durable and I prefer the old style thick cloth keepers over the metal keepers on NATO and Zulu straps and remind me of the straps that came on the issue Marathon watches. The black straps with the black phosphated non-magnetic buckles are perfect for both casual and dress wear.

My Favorite Watch Band

I found these several years ago and now I have about a dozen for various watches. The design is just like the one I had in the military way back in the 80's. No need for all that extra metal ring stuff. This is a simple band that just does what it is supposed to do. I love the color selection and that I can change a band in seconds to get a different look. I also like that they are large enough for an 8" wrist. Most bands these days are just too small but these are perfect!

Great strap, zero complaints.

So close

I do like the band and it works well with my 511 watch. I must have small wrist because I sure have some left over band to deal with. The 511 band had the band that wasn't attached to the keeper. This one the keeper is attached to the band. It would be nice if that weren't the case.
