20 years ago County Comm’s sister company, EOD Robotics, developed a simple compact Breaching Bar with input from Bomb Techs, SWAT Operators and Patrol Officers. These folks need a simple tool for prying; cutting and pounding that didn’t break the bank.
September 2020: We received a government contract for our same bars, BUT MADE FROM SOLID TITANIUM.

- EOD Robotics Breacher Bars come ready to go as a pry bar or lever. Ideal for opening crates and even punching through steel drums etc. The coffin corner back edge lends itself to a hammer nicely.
- The 2 inner holes in the handle can be for paracord or solid slabs or whatever you like. The hole towards the top of the blade and the one on the end are good for lashing it onto a shaft, tree branch etc. The end hole is geared for hanging it up or for attaching a lanyard so you do not lose it in that pit or in the water.
- The top edge can be hammered on as can the back end. And then you can use your imagination to do other things with it. (Makes a good wood chisel too!).
- Bars do not come with cord wrapped handles. You will receive the metal bar. The rest is up to you.
- Not pretty, but pretty handy.

Although the EOD Breacher Tool was developed and designed to enter the real world of urban combat, and with a little work with a file, belt sander, grinder, stone or a rock to it could be sharpened and converted to a Deadly stabbing or slashing instrument we can't recommend it. Likewise, the flat on the handle end should not be used as a skull or rib crusher or for performing other blunt trauma. Sorry these are not returnable. Be safe, and don't play with matches or run with scissors.

After receiving a breacher bar in the big daddy mystery kit (Jan) I ordered a pommel kit and belt holster! The belt holster is seriously tough, sleek and comfortable to carry. The pommel kit took a little sanding down on the inside to slip it onto the bar. A disposable nail file worked well for this. The pommels really add to the bar and hold in any sort of handle wrap well.
Definitely give these a try. I grabbed a medium for pocket carry and a large for tool bag carry. Already used the medium and can see how useful these will be for many tasks(even some unknown uses I'm sure to think up). Grab a couple while available!
Awesome pocket sized utility tool. Maybe slightly too long for some pockets. The chisel edge is perfect amount of sharp without actually a knife edge. Been using it to scrape off a wasp nest, dig at the beach to loosen stuff, and anything I don’t want to use my knife for. Got an awesome bonus in the package- countycomm treats its returning customers well, thank you. Thinking about getting the large size next.
Love these! Have several of both sizes and gave both to my son. Perfect for all those things you shouldn't do with your knife, screwdriver, chisel, etc.. Keep one in my toolbox, electricians pouch, mine probe pouch, etc. Thanks CC.
