Maratac™ did it again. They took the U.S. Government specifications watchbands and then made them better. Maratac™ made these new bands better and stronger than U.S. Military spec # MIL-S-46383. Maratac™ used their ultrasonic drilling process to cut perfect holes that eliminate rough spots around the holes. These new Maratac™ Mil Series bands feature non-magnetic Titanium buckles. How could it get better? Maratac™ added more colors and larger selection of sizes than Uncle Sam ever thought of.

What are the advantages of Titanium hardware?:

  • Even more corrosion resistant than stainless steel.
  • Length 11"
  • Lighter weight than Stainless.
  • Low/No Magnetic Signiture  (Non-Magnetic)
  • Titanium has a dull grey non-reflective appearance.
  • Stronger than Stainless (Remember it’s a watchstrap, not a tow strap, so this is a moot point)

Perfect!

This strap is comfortable, well made and has a titanium buckle... perfect. I like it so much that I bought a second one to replace this, years from now when it is finally too dirty and tattered to keep wearing.

I have an 8.5" wrist and fits me on the 3rd to last hole.

The keeper is slim and NOT METAL. How strong does a keeper need to be?

The strap itself Is NOT OVER THICK. It is thin, supple and does not raise the watch too high off the wrist. Again, how strong does a strap need to be? My wrist will sustain damage long before this strap will.

The buckle is slim and unobtrusive. Not to beat a dead horse but... how strong does a watch buckle need to be? It is not going to fail. Is it really desirable to have a watch strap that will deglove your hand rather than break free?

Simple and robust

Wanted a one-piece band to replace the two-piece my watch came with.
The Mil Series band was a perfect replacement. The holes had no burnt edges to cause irritation, the titanium hardware is light and strong with no concerns for oxidation/ corrosion. Even the remaining strap is nice, as it isn't extra metal to get in the way.

Customer service

I had a discrepancy with my order in the rush leading up to Christmas. I posted a note on the Countycomm website, had a response within 10 minutes, and had total resolution in a few days. Quality products, and even better customer service in my experience. The products pretty much sell themselves, but the people at Countycomm sell the company. Highly recommended!

Simple but tough strap

Great quality strap, simple one piece construction. Retaining loop is sewn on so it does not slip around. Comfortable to wear but it’s a utility item for a tool watch so not flashy at all.
