I got this as a nice, smaller alternative for my wife to walk the dog as she would pick up my work light and wonder off. It is a great size and has plenty of power for the task at hand with a fantastic build quality. I also like that this light came with the battery as part of the package. It is a very nice light for the money.
This light is intensely bright and has a solid feel. The knurling is effectively grippy. The pocket clip is stout. The lens o-ring has a mild glow, which is a nice feature that I was not anticipating. The powerful beam is more spot than flood—appropriate for a tac light. Overall great light period.

These three items make an awesome package, as you can see in my photos.
The flashlight is a no brainer buy. If you only had ONE flashlight, this would be the one I'd keep. Flexible power options with the included rechargeable battery and usb cable, or any off the shelf AA battery. The flashlight itself has multiple intensity modes that can be flipped through by a quick click on the tailcap, although I find it is easier to twist the head to switch through the modes. Rugged construction. On high, it easily illuminates my barn 100 yards from the house. The moonlight low makes close work in the dark easy on the eyes, while extending battery life. Good size to use in your off hand, holding a handgun. I find it easy and secure feeling between my fingers while using a two hand grip. More features on the listing, these are the ones that were most important to me.
Using the pick pocket case to hold this light is the PERFECT companion. Interior pockets hold the charging cable, owners manual, lanyard, and an extra set of batteries. The shape and padding give really nice protection. Zipper design allows access to the light without opening the case more than halfway. No concern with anything in the pockets falling out. Outside pockets will nicely accommodate a slim folding knife if you desire. It's a perfect pairing that gives one peace of mind rattling around in your console or a toolbox.
The icing on the cake for me is adding the Aviator B3 pen/pencil that slides into the outside pen pocket. Love the pen/pencil and the way it fits in the pouch is perfect! Win Win Win.
1000 lumens out of a AA size light?! Very nice. Not as compact as some other AA/14500 lights, but well-designed. Clip and button comfortable. Can't beat the price, especially if on sale.
This is a great light. Bought 2 since one is none. Like all the items i've purchased from County Comm, this thing is solid! You won't regret making a purchase.
