Bi directional clip - perfect for clipping onto a hat too!
Also light will not work with standard AA batteries since the voltage needs to be at least 3V to operate with LVD
So I love just about anything CC. This light is no exception, minus the button. Its nicely done but there is no guard around it and the slightest bump turns the light on. So pretty much rules out pocket carry for me anyway. Very bright for the size and easy to use. Love the moon mode too. As with everything CC its beautifully machined and reeks of quality.
Quality of construction is excellent, power modes are useful levels of light, and and the user interface is also good (no complicated clicking schemes to access the Special User Seekrit Death Star Ultimate Blinding Mode).
BUT the push button is TOO easy to access, the light was continually activating inside my front pocket. Otherwise it would have rated 5 stars.
Great light with simple UI. Make sure to back out the middle threads a tad so it won’t switch on in your pocket. I use a mini usb rechargeable battery (750 milliamps) and top it off every once in a while. It has great output for its size.
This light is great with one exception, for an EDC light the tail switch is a bit on the sensitive side.
A lot of my work requires that I use both hands so this flashlight is sometimes in my mouth.
I was able to put some heat shrink on the tail cap making it more mouth friendly and let it curl over the end to make the switch just a little "deeper" which so far has stopped any accidental activation.
This is by far the brightest "AA size" flashlight I have ever seen. 8)
It's a nice little light. Simple UI is awesome. I found out these are compatible with Lumintop FWAA, which means there are aftermarket upgrades for this light, like sapphire lens and deep carry clip and more from flashlight enthusiasts who enjoy these high quality lights
