It's a the brightest handheld LED light I've ever seen- that Japanese Fir in the picture is over 100 feet from where I stood as I took the picture. I imagine these will go faster than they can make them Very nice product!

I have the LEP DX Reach. Still “one” of my favorites. Now, this SolarFlare Extreme is my “Favorite!” It burns so bright with flood and distance to spare. Honestly, when I fired this up for the first time, it was 11:00 am last Friday. I was in my house. “Click, Click!” Boom! That’s all it took for me to always carry this amazing light on me everywhere. I do have to venture into attics, doghouses, and other dark place, it’s a little overkill. But worth it. The brightest setting at 2 clicks, is too bright for dark rooms or attics. Luckily, setting change quickly. Find the setting you like and with just one click, you got what you need.
The “moonlight” mode is awesome. I use this to walk every night, until I get far enough away from my neighbors and then the big gun ignites! “Click, Click!”
It’s one(1) pound with the three rechargeable batteries and love the weight. Charges quickly in solely or remove them and charge in the plate. It’s extremely sturdy and strong. The color of the body is amazingly subtle and nice. I threw on the zip lanyard just so I won’t drop it. Always safer than angry at stupid mistakes.
This light is so bright, I can see other’s thoughts from over a half mile away. It is so bright, that when I shine it at the sun, the sun shuts off. It’s so bright that it made my teeth two shades brighter in 24 hours. You see what I’m say’n?! I better say these are jokes or someone just might try to whiten their teeth with it. Anyway! Well worth it.
I have owned many lights, from Spitfire, to no name Amazon lights that just can’t compete. Use it what it’s for and you won’t be disappointed.
