When the military needs small cord to help secure their gear, they use this 3/32" Tether Cord. This U.S. made tether cord is also called "Sensitive Item Securing System". It's used throughout the military to secure things like strobe lights, compasses and knives to the operator.
Fisherman Knot Static Breaking strength of tether cord 244lbs. ( Tested by Rescue17 )

The Tether Cord is just as expected, cuts cleanly with a sharp knife, unobtrusive colors, strong enough for what it is used for. This cord is like mini-para but with an inerlocking outer sheath, not smooth, which is why it holds knots so well. I will probably purchase other colors now as well. Great job from CountyComm as usual.
Great cordage. I had to get some of each color. The green and orange really stand out, the grey with black tracer tends blend into the background. Diameter is similar to 275 or 325 paracord. The weave pattern seems to hold knots better than paracord.
I like to attach a 6-8" piece to my charge cords (single or double constrictor hitch) so I always have something to keep it in a hank to prevent tangling.
Made in the USA too!
Tether cord works great for creating or quietening key chains. Also great for creating tool keepers when dropping tools is a risk. Prompt service as always. Thanks.
