This purpose built backpack was designed from it's inception as a backpack that could be used everyday, as part of EDC, but not stick and shout "I'm tactical and prepared, come challange me". The Urban Day Backpack is perfect for blending into most environments yet still carrying what you need. Truly a Multi-Mission capable pack.

So I gave this pack a 4/5.
1) Great organisation. I have had so many backpacks and you do not get this level of organisation in an off-the-rack pack, not even from the likes of North Face, etc.
2) Tough materials
3) No overt branding -- bonus
4) Good size. Its big enough for most things but not too big.
5) CC/Maratac quality -- top notch as always!
1) Floppy. It would benefit immensely from a frame sheet or stiffer padding at the back.
2) Picks up lint and cat fur like crazy. OK, to be fair this is common to most nylon bags, esp the black ones!
high quality day pack
very high build quality for the price. extra reinforcements on the bottom and side make it seem like this bag can withstand alot of abuse. amazing this pack is roughly the size and weight of a jansport big student but feels much sturdier and larger. love the clown car pocket for sunglasses
Cool daypack, great organisation
I've only had this pack a short time but so far I'm impressed with it. First of all, the organisation is very well thought out. I can speak from experience, having had I can't tell you how many messenger bags, daypacks and satchels over the years. So full marks for that. Secondly, its not huge, but its not too small either. So points for that. Thirdly, zippers are excellent across the board, as always with CC. The only negatives I could mention are that its not 100D cordura, probably 500D. If that matters to you. The other thing is the addition of a waist strap. I personally find these to be a waste (haha) of time on a daypack. You're basically never going to use it and it just gets in the way. I still need to load this baby up and test it out but first impressions are very favourable.
Full marks for organisation and general design. Materials I would say 7/10. Overall cool factor is high because its not like the daypack every other schmoe is carrying around. Personally I would not want to pay more than $84 for it so I would look out for specials and grab one then.
Great EDC Bag
bought this bag as a new edc bag. switched from a goruck radio ruck (2018 release ver) as my edc stuff had outgrown it.
this bag by maratac is awesome. just like what you see in the video. perfect for edc or travel or whatever you decide. only thing id improve on with this bag would be a frame sheet. im debating on making one out of kydex, or buying one of those greyman tactical bag inserts that my pouches can attach to.
