It's good

I bought one of these the first time they made it out of a sail. It was a limited run. It had to be 5-10 years ago, maybe more. It's still truckin. No holes. The Countycomm tag they put on doesn't have writing on it anymore, but other than that it still looks good.

4 years later

This wallet's been riding in my back pocket for 4 years now, and it's finally wearing out at the bottom corners (both sides). It's overstuffed without a doubt, currently 1/2" thick and probably would've lasted longer were I less of a packrat. And it's not the stitching -- that's solid as a rock -- the sailcloth itself slowly succumbed to friction.

When brand new the wallet was so tight I struggled to get my ID and 3 other cards in... At first I was concerned I'd bought a wallet too small to do its job. Within a few days, the fabric relaxed enough to let me eventually cram it with: driver's license, 4 credit cards, 3 insurance ID cards, voter info card, a heavyweight business card and 5 bills. That's full capacity or quite near.

Once broken in, it's super easy to access all items. Retention is sufficient that nothing falls out on its own.

Only 2 areas of concern:
1. Federal Reserve Notes only fit if triple-folded, which adds significantly to overall bulk and makes getting cash in and out sort of awkward. You'll probably want a money clip unless you're stubborn like me and want to just cram them in anyway.

2. This wallet is SO small & compact that it can escape from loose hip pockets. Jeans are fine, buttoned or velcro closures work -- but if you wear loose-fitting cargo pants with unsecured back pockets and then, say, sprint across a parking lot to stop a toddler from wandering into oncoming traffic, your wallet will NOT arrive with you. This has only happened to me 4 or 5 times in those 4 years. Loose pockets? Stick your wallet up front.

Overall I'm quite pleased -- outstanding lifespan, compact and handy. Let me say again that the stitching is rock-solid, not a single loose thread. Wish I didn't have to fold my Hamiltons in thirds to cram 'em in.

An excellent wallet at an even more excellent price!

If you're like me and once your EDC to fit in your pockets and not feel bulky, this wallet is absolutely perfect! Fits in the back pocket or front pocket with enough space for five or six cards and a little bit of cash and extremely durable. At the price they're selling these it's really a no-brainer...get this one and stop worrying about your wallet!!!

A user's suggestion

First off, I love this card holder and use mine every day and have for quite sometime. When it was new and I had only just begin to carry it, it fell from my hand one day when I was removing a card to pay for a purchase.
When it hit the floor most of the remaining cards spilled out of it. Not wanting this to happen again, this is the solution I applied and it hasn't failed me yet.
At the dollar store I found a card of elastic bands women use in their hair and one band fits very nicely over the height of the card case and cards.
A zipper pull makes it easy to move the band off of and onto the cards.
