When the military needs small cord to help secure their gear, they use this 3/32" Tether Cord. This U.S. made tether cord is also called "Sensitive Item Securing System". It's used throughout the military to secure things like strobe lights, compasses and knives to the operator.
Fisherman Knot Static Breaking strength of tether cord 244lbs. ( Tested by Rescue17 )
150' & 300' Foot Spools
Useful cord to strap things temporarily onto your pack or tie stuff up around the house and garden.
I love this stuff! Now I haven’t done any strength testing with this and I use it mostly as I would twine, but I really like it. Cuts cleanly and easily, barely unravels at the cut, and is an order of magnitude stronger than twine. I’ve even used it to tie tarps around a Christmas Tree before bringing it home. I love this stuff and with the color choices you can make cord as visible as you need to.
