When the military needs small cord to help secure their gear, they use this 3/32" Tether Cord. This U.S. made tether cord is also called "Sensitive Item Securing System". It's used throughout the military to secure things like strobe lights, compasses and knives to the operator.
Fisherman Knot Static Breaking strength of tether cord 244lbs. ( Tested by Rescue17 )
150' & 300' Foot Spools
An old Navy buddy gave me a spool of orange years ago they used to affect UNREPs in the day. This looks like the same stuff but the color selection makes it all the better.
Thanks for the kit.
Great cord, great for zipper pulls and to pull heavyweight paracord through where you need it, or to pull a static line into a tree using a bean bag, or just dummy-cord to secure items to your person!
Useful cord to strap things temporarily onto your pack or tie stuff up around the house and garden.
