This Boker CF Stout Commander model has a Luminous Shredded Carbon Fiber Handle and a heavy stonewashed D2 steel blade.
The Jason Stout designed Boker CF Stout Commander is equipped with a super robust blade that rides on a smooth ball-bearing pivot to allow effortless one-handed deployment. Its ergonomic frame lock handle provides a natural grip for comfortable daily use. The addition of a finger choil and jimping on the blade offers added control for any finer cutting tasks you may encounter. The Stout is built with a tip-up stainless steel pocket clip and a lanyard hole for everyday carry convenience.
Features:D2 is one of my favorite knife steels, this knife has the same high quality I’d expect from other high end brands. Bought one for myself and one for my brothers birthday we both love em.
It’s a very good quality and good looking piece of kit. Light weight and strong an would highly recommend buying one!
At $75 these are a great deal. Good steel, nice flipping action, and cool carbon fiber. The blades size is just right for a working knife.
So far so good. Haven’t really done anything heavy duty with it yet. Seems to be really good so far. Keeps a good edge but doesn’t glow in the dark like advertised. Not sure why but it’s a knife I bought not a glow stick.
I bought this knife a few a month ago and have carried it everyday. I can say that this is a tough beast of a knife and much lighter than expected. The frame and liner are very heavily milled out on the inside of the knife for weight reduction. The shape of the handle make for a comfortable grip on the knife and the handle cut-in makes for a secure grip. The knife action is really great for a knife at this price point, I’d compare it to knife of much greater cost. It flips easily and smoothly and locks up quite solidly. The glow carbon fiber adds a cool factor but isn’t practical or of use in practice, but very interesting. The only knock I have is that mine has developed several stains and micro spots of rust forming on the D2 blade though I have done everything possible to keep it free of corrosion. All in all this is an excellent knife and an equally great price. I am going to buy a few more of these soon...
