loud, bright orange, and darn near indestructible. What's not to like?
What can I say, it’s a whistle and it’s loud…It will definitely grab someone’s attention.
I set up a test, where each of the persons I gave one to stood a different locations on a normal day, and at various distances up to half a mile away.
I was in the center; when I called each person on their cell phone, the took turns doing one short blow of the whistle, then three long ones, and one short one.
Then, each person took note of how well it was heard.
In a normal "suburban" area, I could hear each one!
How's that for "keeping in touch"?
