Maratac straps are the best nylon straps available bar none.
I love watch straps, but I'm a big guy, and most other straps available today are, well, too small for my wrist. The Zulu Strap is big enough and adjustable enough to provide a secure fit and comfort.
Bought a couple of these to replace the band on my wife's Samsung galaxy frontier. So I grabbed myself another for mine as well. She prefers silicone bands, and I prefer woven. However, I got her one of these and she hasn't complained yet. So far she's more than happy with it. Which means I'm happy with it!
The bands are strong, durable and sized perfectly in width. But the design being based on the old Navy Diver and Special Warfare issue bands, they need to be about two inches longer to be able to wrap around increased wrist circumference when using a wet suit, gloves or other clothing that would require the watch to be visible over material need to protect the body. As we did in the community, we simply doubled the excess back into the retaining strap when it was not needed. My old one lasted 10+ years, and these will do the same. Wish it was available in a longer band.
