A Note From The Legal Department: We recommend the use of very high quality 14500 batteries with this flashlight. We do not recommend the use of higher voltage batteries.
Also light will not work with standard AA batteries since the voltage needs to be at least 3V to operate with LVD

This is another great product from County Comm. Great coriander a lot of power from a small light. Feels great in the pocket
CountyComm/Maratac just continue to impress. This light is like EDC illumination perfected.
Small enough and light enough to be very easily carryable but big enough to still pack some serious power when you need it.
The modes and functions were thought out perfectly. The 3 normal settings are ideal day to day user settings and having it remember which setting you want it to come on to is great. That alone would make this a very very good light option. However, the 2 bonus modes (Lunar and Turbo), and how they're accessed truly make this a PHENOMENAL light. Having the lunar mode is super handy for many uses in social settings and the Turbo is great when you really need to see some stuff but I LOVE that those 2 modes are not just cycled through with the others but instead are separate and you don't have to bother cycling through them when you don't need them but are still super easy to access when you do.
Also being a flood instead of a concentrated beam makes this so much better for illuminating a work area.
Seriously if you told me to design and describe the perfect setup for an EDC light this is exactly what I would have come up with.... but it's even better.
And, as always, top notch build quality!
This light is fantastic in terms of brightness, size and form-factor/shape. This is coming from someone who carried the surefire E1b for a long time. I am hard pressed to imagine a much better design for this size light. The power is also impressive. That being said, my one problem with the light is with the tail cap controls. I do not like having to hold the tail switch for a period of seconds in order to turn the emitter off. From a tactical perspective, I need to be able to switch the light on to it's brightest setting right now (and this hand held provides this) and I also need to shut it off right now (the area where this control system seems to be lacking). In terms of everything else, this light is definitely a sustain.
This is an amazing amount of illumination in a small package. I carry this light in my pocket every day. With a second battery and the recommended battery charger, it makes for a great addition to my EDC setup.
As others have pointed out, the one major downside is the sensitive button, which I have accidentally turned on in my pocket several times. Completely by accident, I discovered that if you hold down the tail cap button for 5 seconds (starting from when it is turned off) it will eventually (after entering firefly mode) switch to a "hold for illumination" mode. This mode only illuminates the LEDs when the button is actually being depressed. To exit this mode and return to normal operation, you must hold the button down for another 5 seconds. This mode has made this light extremely pocket friendly and has greatly improved my experience, bringing it back to a 5 star rating!
Thanks to CountyComm for another great and reliable product!
This looks like a very close variant of the Nichia 219 4000K Lumintop FWAA which is already a great flashlight. It's almost identical in overall construction, size, materials, and weight with only a few differences. It has been upgraded to sapphire front glass, has a slightly different body shape, and uses a different user interface.
There were no user interface instructions with mine, so there may be additional features beyond the obvious off - low - medium - high - turbo. I think this is a good user interface for EDC use by non-flashlight enthusiasts (normal people) - which is who I bought it for.
As a flashlight enthusiast I much prefer the Anduril 2 user interface that the FWAA uses. It has more fixed levels and a variable mode, and instant access to turbo in simple mode and full Anduril options out of simple mode.
