Like most of my titanium purchases, I didn’t have a use case in mind when I ordered this. Eventually, of course, an opportunity arose where this was the perfect tool for a precision school project. These guys make the best stuff and their service is superb. So I’m taking a moment to review some of the dozens of items I’ve ordered through the years and used with great delight.
Well made and thought out. Love the cap, just make sure you have the blade seated all the way down. Love that it is titanium. Gonna try and post a pic when I flame anodize it.
First off this thing is awesome. Build quality is 5-star. But two gripes. One: The cap is such a tight tolerance, that if the blade is even slightly off it rubs and grinds on the cap as you replace it. Two: The whole thing unthreads itself and loosens the blade within the handle. Other than that, it's awesome.
It a gift to my niece who’s a architectural student. She delighted.
Over the years we have owned several #11 blade hobby knives. All the plastic caps eventually break and more than once we have poked ourselves reaching through the tool drawer. The quality and safety of these TI knives will hopefully make them a lifetime purchase. I've purchased 2 of these from countycomm, one for the toolbox and one for the EDC belt tool kit.
