Urban Day Backpack By Maratac

I've got quite a bag addiction, but have quite a few, so I haven't bought any for a while. I kept coming back to this bag and almost bought it a few times. One day, it went on a Flash Sale, so I bought it and have been extremely happy.

The main compartment is huge and carries a lot of gear. There are plenty of other smaller compartments in this bag, so being able to carry almost anything you want is no problem. Organization is achievable using these compartments, although there is only one admin type pocket.

Zippers are top notch and work easily, even when under a load. The stitching is even and neat. These detail show up in all of County Comm's nylon products. The shoulder straps are comfortable, even with 40+ pound loads.

My only two suggestions for this pack are a stiffer back and loop field or MOLLE webbing in the main compartment. But, those features aren't promised, so you are getting exactly what is described. Watching the video, I could see the lack of these two items, so I wasn't surprised.

It would be nice to see these in a different color in the future, maybe even a camo pattern.

I purchased this pack during a CC flash sale. I had been wanting an incredibly functional pack at a very reasonable price so, when I saw this item on sale, I jumped on the opportunity. The pack is well designed and I expect many years of solid performance from it. I also feel it draws little attention with its subtle appearance--and I like that.

The bag is well built like all CC/ Maratac products, it’s a basic bag with sections like most other bags of this type, long term use will tell quality and useful life. Straps are very nice, I wish it had a CCW pocket. All in all a very nice bag. The sunglasses pouch is useful and large enough for glasses and a cleaning kit.

This pack is great overall. It holds significantly more than expected for its form and size. It looks good and I appreciate very much that it is subtle. My one issue is that there is nowhere to stow the waist belt when not in use. I appreciate having the waist belt when I’m carrying any significant amount of weight for a good distance, but on a day-to-day basis I will likely not be using it; therefore, some means of getting it out of the way would have been nice. I made due by rolling it up and using electrical tape, but a small pocket on either side or even elastic strap to hold the buckles out of the way and perhaps some Velcro or an elastic keeper to secure the straps would make the pack near perfect. I will likely mod it myself at some point. As it is, it is worth more than the sale price I paid for it and I expect to get a lot of use out of it for a long time.
