We discovered these screw drivers while we were sourcing some tools for a client. We liked them so much we all wanted some for our personal use so we bought some and are offering the extras here. Let our bulk purchasing power work for you!
2 tool bits provide 4 working tips all made of heat treated s2 tool steel. The composite plastic handle and pocket clip makes this quite the technician's screw driver.
I use this primarily for eyeglasses repair. The tiny screwdrivers that come in the glasses repair kits you can buy are so tiny & hard to hold/manipulate that they’re nearly useless. This is excellent for this purpose. Easy to grip/manipulate and tips small enough to use on glasses. It’s also great for working on delicate electronics where over tightening a screw is easy to do, but this screwdriver is easy to control & to feel the tension on small screws.
Most products on CC are well made and have a specific purpose. I got this thinking that I’d find a lot of uses for it around the house. It ended up getting borrowed. But because these are inexpensive I might pick up another one. The make on it seems durable and it comes with four bits. It’s well worth the price.
At under $10 this is a steal. Everything is super tight—too tight really but that will loosen a bit with use, I wouldn't change a thing. The drivers themselves are all super hard and sharp and well-machined.
I've needed a small Phillips more than once and crap screw drivers are an abomination. If you think you might need it get one, if you know you need it get two.
