I have been purchasing EDC items from County Comm for quite some time now. So many Mega Big Daddy Swagg Packs I have lost count! I think I own 80% of all the titanium items CC sells! Their tools and gadgets are well made, useful and innovative. I own 3 Maratac mechanical watches not including the TDW's in every color! So, I decided to go bigger and purchase the Elite Limitless Mystery Prototype Grab Box. To my knowledge I don't think I have purchased one of these in the past. Waiting for my packages to arrive from County Comm is always a feeling of joyful anticipation, good thing they are so quick to ship your items. I must admit I was a bit concerned I would end up with many items I have received in past Mystery Packs. That was entirely not the case! As I was unpacking the package I immediately realized this was something special. I didn't receive the 1 of 20 worth at least $1000, non the less I was very satisfied with the contents. There were several items that were not available currently, some items that were sold out and a few I had never seen on the site. All in all this was a great deal with most items I will find useful. The big ticket items included the BRP UrbanHaul - XPAC® Backpack, the Acebeam T35 flashlight and a Böker Plus Suiseki compact pocket knife (which took me 10 minutes to figure out how to open it! LOL). Smaller items included Tactical Think Tank - XPAC® Notebook Cover, one large and one small compass, Titanium Chop Sticks, nice selection of stickers, Pop Out Pens in every color (5), a Pen-Go Brass Pen - Rev 2, a prybar/multitool and a small notebook (filler pad I think). All in all this was a great deal and I'm sure I will purchase additional Prototype Grab Boxes in the future. Thanks County Comm for doing what you do so well!
This is my 3rd Proto Bag and I have to say they have all been wins for me. The first one was the compass bag, the second one was the multiple item titanium, and this one has new products that feel like they were curated for me. I believe the main value item was the Zirconium pen. Love the match, the knife, the pouches fit my use style. Useful little flood light. The edc trident logo patches are clean and minimal so I’ll even be using those. It was a $199 bag and I believe the current listed value is around the $420 range and a bit higher if you go by original prices. Fun way to get gear and you never know if you’ll get the jackpot bag!
If all these boxes are like mine it’s by far the best box ever. Every single item was something I’ve considered buying in the past. And I haven’t tried to add up the value I received, but it was no less than amazing.
So, it's a fanny pack or a sling bag. It's made of the X-Pac material so it's durable and light weight. It has essential pockets for organizing and so it's functional for the EDCer type. It's a "prototype" so it's not listed in the normal County Comm inventory. It was a surprise find in this Ultimate Mystery Prototype grab bag along with the cornucopia of other County Comm swag. Two thumbs up!
I did receive the bigger than usual proto box, which included a fantastic watch and a proto zippo case. The skull, this thing is bad ass, and its Titanium. I think others are confusing what they received as Stainless, but weigh it if you got it, 6oz is the Titanium version. Highly recommended.
