I have multiple intrests, micro machining, electronics and wood working.
all have one comon need, small nuts & bolts.
i sometimes work to 1-72, but 2-56 & 4-40 are more common.
The "golf ball dimples" ARE PERFECT to keep a 1/4" lo g screw from rolling far, and the Orange color helps find them.

I bought this mat to service watches on and it worked out perfectly...
I got this mat in addition to the jumbo and regular-sized armorer's mats for when I don't need a lip around the perimeter. The size is just about right for my purposes as well. All of my mats are orange in color so I can quickly spot any small parts.
It's just the best. I'm a watchmaker and I bought this on a whim after loving the trays I received from a mystery pack. Great contrast, especially for small parts and screw. 10/10!
