County Comm’s new Gen 8 Bail Out Bag is here to change your thoughts on Bail Out Bags.
History: Did you know County Comm started the “Bail Out Bag” craze back in 2001 for our friends at Los Angeles Police Department (no relation to the gear store)? There were 7 generations of the bag made. Each generation was better than the generation before it. In 2008 we became disgusted with unscrupulous retailers copying our original designs and taking the name “Bail Out Bag” as their own, so we stopped production until we could make something revolutionary
For the last year we have been working on developing the “Ultimate Bail Out Bag”. We call it B.O.B. Gen 8
Some of B.O.B. Gen 8’s features include:
Main Compartment: 14”long X 6”wide X 11”tall
Side Compartment (Lined with Loop): 14”long X 2”wide X 8”tall
Two zippered side pouches, each: 7”long, 8.5”tall X 2”deep
Padded shoulder strap made of soft 2” nylon webbing
Main compartment lined with hook on one side and twin zippered net pocket.
Covert interior pocket
1.5” soft nylon seatbelt webbing
Double zipper pulls on all exterior pockets
Large loop patches on outside for ID Patches 1ea: 6”X4”. 2ea: 4.25”X3”.

Customs delays in some cases can add a couple weeks of delays in some cases depending on time of year. For example during the holiday rush wait times can be longer for customs clearance so order early.
So happy Countycomm decided to bring these back. I regretted not getting one years ago and purchased one as soon as I saw they were back in stock. This BOB is a perfect all around size bag. I recently used it for a weekend trip and it packed everything I needed for two days plus an extra pair of sandals with room to spare. Only critiques I really have are I wish the zippers were YKK, especially for the price, and maybe some kind of high viz interior as it can be difficult to see inside the bag in low light. I can see bag being a great gym or range bag also. IMO the pictures make the bag look bigger than it is, I would say this bag is mid sized. Would love an XL version!

BOB Gen. #8
A better mouse trap (BOB #8) well thought of, designed, and manufactured. Plenty of room to stash a lot essential items in case SHTF.

Assumed
It would be County Comm gold standard if YKK zippers and double stitching would appear on Gen 9. A 180 opening and longer strap would help; along with a fold-down firm interior bottom support.

Ultimate Bag
It was a long wait but really, really worth it. I have many, "go", "bug out", and "get home" bags. This bag is made to the exacting specs of CC and every part of it is well thought out and well made. It is large without being too big. The loop panels allow attachment of many accessories. For me the water resistant panel on the bottom is genius. The PNW coast is wet most of the time and this bottom panel keeps the wet out. Great product, get one.

Nice bag!
What a nice bag for daily use to keep daily use items organized. Everyone here has their own ideas, but I see room for: flashlights, knives, cellphone, tablet/kindle, battery charger, USB charger & cables, power bank, even pen and paper if you're so inclined. The large center compartment is for overnights, -- YMMV.
